Membership Qualifications For the North Tooele Fire Protection Service District

To become a member of the North Tooele Fire Protection Service District an
applicant must meet the following qualifications:

1. Be a property owner, resident, and/or employee of the District.

2. A person of good moral character, sound in mind and body.

3. Be 18 years of age.

4. Must have a high school diploma, GED or equivalency.

5. If applying as a combat firefighter, must show proof that they are in
physical condition to perform the duties of a combat firefighter.

Applications are available at each station. After completing the
application they are given to the applicable Station Captain for review and
recommendation to the District Fire Chief. Upon approval by the Fire Chief the
applicant is presented to the Board of Trustees for approval.

Upon approval of the Board, the person becomes a member of the North Tooele County Fire District.
